Exterior Lighting Design Release Engineer

We are recruiting an experienced Design Release Engineer- Exterior Lighting (DRE) to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry. NOTE: 100% Onsite location in Windsor, ON Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, validation, and release of exterior lighting systems including headlamps, tail lamps, fog lamps, and signaling devices
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact responsible for delivering lighting components that meet performance, cost, quality, and timing targets throughout the vehicle development lifecycle
• Lead the end-to-end engineering delivery of exterior lighting systems from concept through production launch
• Own design release of components in PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill)
