Fabrications Estimator

Role Description

The Fabrications Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Nepean, ON. This position is responsible for reviewing drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to prepare accurate estimates for custom plastic fabrication projects. Day‑to‑day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, calculating material usage and labor time, and preparing detailed quotations and cost breakdowns. The role involves collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and production teams to clarify project scope, optimize designs for manufacturability, and ensure estimates align with shop capabilities. The Fabrications Estimator also updates and maintains pricing data, tracks project revisions, supports order entry, and may assist with scheduling or project follow‑up to help ensure jobs are delivered on time and within budget.
