The Opportunity
Young District Hospital (also referred to as Young Health Service) is a small but essential rural hospital in Young, NSW, offering a 24‑hour Emergency Department as part of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. The facility comprises around 26–32 beds and delivers a broad range of services including emergency care, acute medical and surgical treatment, maternity and obstetrics, day surgery, oncology support and allied health services, ensuring locum clinicians experience clinical variety typical of regional practice.
