Job Description

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is hiring a Maintenance Generalist to ensure optimal facility operations. This essential role encompasses plumbing, carpentry, and equipment upkeep within a hybrid work environment.

As a key member of the Maintenance Team reporting to the Senior Facility Manager, you will perform various repair tasks, clean essential areas, and support trade operations. Engage in hands-on work, ensuring the safety and reliability of all systems in the facility.

Key Responsibilities: • Fix leaks in sinks and toilets • Replace light fixtures and ceiling tiles • Maintain cleanliness in mechanical and utility areas • Change filters for air handling units • Test water for boiler and treatment systems

Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Certification for fire alarm systems • Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks • Good communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
