Position Summary
BCIT’s School of Transportation is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Marine Engineering to instruct/facilitate Ship Construction, Naval Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Knowledge, Electrotechnology/High Voltage, Automation and Control, Applied Engineering Sciences and workshop courses. The ideal candidate will be able to bring industry experience into the classroom, develop course and program curriculum, deal with relevant operational and educational issues, and cultivate positive relationships with students.BCIT is one of Canada’s largest post-secondary institutes, with more than 45,000students enrolled in certificate, diploma, apprenticeship and degree programs.
