Family Physician - Rosthern

Job Description

This opportunity is for a rural family physician for Rosthern.

Requirements include Clinic, Hospitalist, and ER work:

• Clinic work is flexible based on the physician preference but can be anywhere from 2-5 days/week
• Hospital work is based on a hospitalist rotation shared among all physicians- it is a week long rotation covering the 22 inpatient beds from 8am-5pm, every 2 months
• ER work is considered being on-call for the 24/7 ER, and can be either split-shifts or 24-h shifts (three to four 24h shifts/month, one of which is a weekend day)

Salaried half days at local satellite clinics. Opportunity for teaching students and residents.

Remuneration is currently Fee-for-service, we have a billing specialist who covers this. There is associated overhead which is split among all providers in the clinic.
