Family School Wellness Worker (Sundre)

Job Overview

Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full‑time Family School Wellness Worker serving schools throughout the division in a pooled model of service delivery, effective August 20, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, support, and referral services to children and their families.
• Work at Sundre High School and support River Valley School (grades K‑8) while delivering services as part of the Division Program.
• Deliver early intervention and crisis intervention services.
• Collaborate with community agencies and schools to meet student and family needs.

Qualifications

• Preferred: a degree in social work or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Strong skills in early intervention and crisis intervention.
• Ability to work with community agencies and education partners.
• Must provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
