Job Responsibilities
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items available in the bar.
- Know all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the bar.
- Know every wine or champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
- Use designated glassware and garnishes for drinks.
- Know all menu items, preparation methods and times, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation, and prices.
- Follow daily menu specials and be aware of out-of-stock items.
- Understand bar layout, table set-ups, and hours of operation.
- Input items into the Info Genesis system.
- Manage daily arrivals, departures, and VIPs.
- Be aware of in-house group activities, locations, and times.
- Correctly maintain and use equipment.
- Follow all department policies and service procedures.
