Overview
i3 is looking for a FEA Analysis Engineer to support our growing team in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
+ Performs finite element analysis for review, characterization, and validation of mechanical structures and mechanisms in a variety of domains.
+ Assimilates technical information from numerous sources and develops models with a high degree of precision.
+ Uses calculations, Monte Carlo sensitivity analyses, and engineering judgement to evaluate the applicability of models to real-world effects.
+ Prepares technical reports to document and clearly communicate potential failure modes and propose design solutions.
+ Performs trade studies to evaluate alternative design concepts and clearly communicates reasoning and recommendations to stakeholders.
+ Other duties as assigned.
