Field Engineer, Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)

Job Summary Responsible for converting manual vehicles into AMR/AGV systems and maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting daily operation of AMR/AGV equipment to ensure safe and reliable performance. Responsibilities Convert manual forklifts into AMR/AGV systems by installing automation kits, sensors, controllers, and safety devices Perform wiring, mechanical assembly, and system integration to ensure functional AMR/AGV units Test, calibrate, and commission AMR/AGV units to meet operational standards Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues to minimize downtime Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability Respond promptly to system faults and breakdowns to restore safe operations Follow safety standards and procedures consistently during all tasks Record detailed conversion, testing, and maintenance work for documentation and compliance Required competencies and certifications Technical diploma or relevant ...
