Day to day

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that the financial records accurately represent the financial position and performance of the business through maintenance of accurate and up to date financial information in the General Ledger and the management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Co-ordinating finance period end procedures to ensure accurate preparation of the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with FRS102.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance by preparation of accurate and timely tax and other returns and related payments.

Essential Criteria of an Ascent Financial Accountant

• Good understanding of UK GAAP (FRS102) and IFRS covering all Ascent finances.
