Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to support our growing team in Krakow office.
The Financial Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the Finance function at MDPI by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely month-end closings, compliance with local accounting standards and supporting global financial reporting. The role focuses on financial accounting, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and financial process improvements. As a Financial Accountant, you will collaborate closely with the global finance team and external accounting providers.
This is a full-time, in-office and entry level position based in our Krakow office.
Tasks & Responsibilities

Maintain complete and accurate bookkeeping in line with Polish GAAP and internal group accounting policies.

Coordinate with the external accounting company to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
