Fire Service Instructor (Officer Development)

Job Summary

Under supervision of the Assistant Chief, Staff Development and Safety, this position is responsible performing functions and duties related to the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of training and certification. This positions primary focus will be related to activities in the area of Officer and Supervisor Development; however, will assist in other areas as required.

This position is a IAFF 80 position and will be filled in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Should it not be filled in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, external candidates will be considered.
