About The Position
INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking Fire Watchman to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of Fire Watchman is to monitor hot work activities (such as electrical work, cutting, and grinding) in hazardous oil and gas environments to prevent fires. The candidate shall ensure compliance with fire safety protocols, recognize potential hazards, and respond effectively in case of emergencies.
﻿Responsibilities:
Hazard Recognition & Risk Assessment
Identify potential fire hazards, including combustible materials, flammable gases, and unsafe work conditions.
Assess work areas for oxygen-deficient or toxic atmospheres using Authorized Gas Testing (AGT) procedures.
 Communicate identified hazards to the work crew and safety personnel before starting hot work.
