Job Description
- Must posses a valid food service sanitation certificate
- Experience in quantity cooking
- Ability to follow purchasing procedures
- Ability to relate well to staff and students
- Ability to adjust standardized recipes for given lunch count
- Knowledge of nutritional requirements of children as it relates to the Federal guidelines of school lunch
- Ability to follow through to ensure that consistent and quality food products are prepared and served
Responsibilities
- Keep accurate records
- Plan and assist in preparation of foods using methods which reatin nutritive value
- Ensure that sanitary practices are followed in food preparation, service and clean up
- Coordinate and oversee food service operations.
