Forklift Operator

Introduction

We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Forklift Operator role based in our Cape Town operation, situated in Bellville South. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the supply of packing material and packing of finished product in the Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that finished product is not damaged by forklift
• Offloading full pallets off the line
• Supply boards to be loaded on layer boardmachine
• Bring pallets and load on pallet magazine
• Packing finished product in warehouse
• Make sure machines go on charge end ofshift
• Batteries must be checked (water levels and loose connections) before machine getused
• Physical check on the machine must be done and any defects must be reported
• Forklift must be kept clean at all times
• Charging area to be clean
