Join King Edward Main Lab as a Full-Time Histology Technologist. This permanent evening role requires a strong focus on lab procedures and quality control for accurate diagnostics.
In this position, you will conduct routine laboratory procedures and maintain equipment critical for histological examinations. Your attention to detail and teamwork will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality laboratory services that aid in patient diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and accession specimens for lab testing
• Operate laboratory equipment and maintain documentation
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards in the lab
• Assist in training new staff in histological techniques
• Report any issues to the Lab Manager promptly
Requirements:
• Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist with CSMLS & CMLTM
• Preferred experience in Histology processing and accessioning
• Familiarity with lab equipment maintenance
