Take on a vital role as a Pathologist Assistant at Kingston General Hospital. Your expertise will support pathologists in conducting detailed necropsies and surgeries.
This temporary full-time position allows you to engage in both hospital autopsies and laboratory analysis submissions. Collaborating closely with medical professionals, you will also help train residents, ensuring the highest quality of service. Key Responsibilities:
• Execute dissection of surgical specimens with precision
• Participate in hospital and medico-legal autopsies
• Prepare detailed reports of gross findings
• Mentor residents on best practices in dissection
• Uphold all safety and operational policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in science with anatomy focus
• Experience in autopsy assistance is preferred
• Certification by CCCPA or AAPA is advantageous
