Job Description
Become a vital part of the Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education as a Full-Time Security Officer. Your role will involve building patrols, emergency response, and ensuring safety on-site.
This position requires a dedicated individual to oversee security operations during weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You’ll monitor premises, respond to incidents, and assist in training new personnel. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, along with a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol building and exterior grounds regularly
• Respond actively during emergency situations
• Conduct investigations and document incidents
• Manage door locks/unlocks as needed
• Provide First Aid assistance when required
Requirements:
• Valid Security License for Nova Scotia
• Current Standard/Intermediate First Aid & CPR - Level C
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
