Our client is a major financial institution looking for a skilled Fund Accounting Consultant to join their team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will oversee a team responsible for delivering high-quality accounting, administration, and investor services to investment companies and advisors. This position requires a strong ability to manage client relationships, resolve complex issues, and implement solutions tailored to evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of administrators responsible for accounting, administration, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for investment companies, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and CLOs.
• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Help develop/implement new processes to align with regulatory and industry changes.
