Job Description

The General Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. The role covers bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, taxation, and other accounting-related functions to support effective financial management.

  • Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including monitoring collections and payments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and government-mandated contributions (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses.
