About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Damp & Mould Operative / Building Technician to join our Newbury, Thatcham and Reading team. This role involves carrying out damp and mould remediation works across residential and/or commercial properties, ensuring high-quality standards, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections to identify causes of damp and mould, including condensation, penetrating damp, and rising damp
- Carry out mould treatments using approved biocidal and antifungal solutions
- Prepare and clean affected surfaces, ensuring safe and effective removal of contamination
- Undertake reinstatement works such as painting, sealing, and basic repairs
- Complete internal decoration using mould-resistant primers and paints
