Location: Chatham, ON. Workdays: Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, sorting and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals.
- Weighing and tracking the material using the RECY system.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting with torch cutting when necessary.
- Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using a forklift.
- General maintenance in and around the work area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift.
- Previous experience in metal recycling or an industrial environment.
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work well in a team and on one's own.
Benefits
- Hourly pay of CAD25.75/hr, plus overtime after 44 hours.
