The Role
As a General Maintenance Operative / Caretaker, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the safety, compliance and functionality of buildings across site.
Day-to-day, you’ll carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across building fabric, ensuring facilities remain operational, safe and fit for purpose.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out general building maintenance and fabric repairs across site

Conducting routine inspections including fire doors, fire stopping and water systems (L8 checks)

Responding to reactive maintenance issues and making them safe

Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities to ensure compliance

Working collaboratively within a small team and providing cover when required

Participating in a 24/7 on-call rota (following initial training period)
