Job Description
Role Purpose
To provide a safe, responsive, and efficient maintenance service across the site, carrying out planned and reactive tasks to maintain buildings, services, and associated equipment. The role supports statutory compliance, contractual performance standards, and a safe environment for building users.
Maintenance & Repairs
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a range of building systems and fabric.
* Undertake basic mechanical, electrical, and general building maintenance tasks, including:
* Plumbing repairs (taps, toilets, leaks)
* Basic HVAC checks (filters, simple fault reporting)
* Fabric repairs (doors, locks, ceilings, flooring)
* Minor electrical works (lamp replacements, visual checks)
* Identify faults and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate.
* Support specialist engineers and subcontractors as required.
