UPMC Mercy is hiring a Full Time General Maintenance position to support our facility!
This position will work 7am-3pm with rotating weekends.
Preferred candidates will have general mechanical and/or electrical skills, plus basic HVAC and plumbing experience.
Purpose:
To perform a variety of duties in and around hospital buildings and grounds. This involves minor repairs, alterations and improvements to buildings and equipment. To inspect and ensure proper maintenance of hospital equipment. To assist craftsmen and other workers as needed in completing their assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform a variety of minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or HVAC trades throughout the hospital and grounds being conscious of safety hazards and cost containment efforts.
