Job Description

Key Qualifications

  • Fellow with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD)
  • Full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia in Pathology
  • Eligibility for a full medical licence in the Province of British Columbia, Canada
  • Fellowship training or equivalent subspecialty experience in an academic setting
  • Certification in Anatomical Pathology

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative and diagnostic surgical pathology services and autopsy services
  • Process and analyze approximately 35,000 surgical pathology specimens annually at Kelowna General Hospital
  • Engage in academic activities within the Southern Medical Program of the University of British Columbia, including teaching medical students
