General Practitioner

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team at Layton Medical Centre. Delivering Primary care services across 6 - 7 sessions a week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP looking for a well-balanced role within a forward-thinking practice, offering clinical support, a collaborative multidisciplinary team, and a focus on sustainable worklife balance.

Main duties of the job

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred care in accordance with GMC and NHS standards
• Undertake a mix of face-to-face, telephone and digital consultations
• Manage both acute and chronic conditions
• Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate
• Participate in a weekly duty/on-call rota
• Provide cross-cover for GP colleagues during periods of annual leave, including:
  • Additional clinical sessions
  • On-call/duty doctor responsibilities
