Job Description

The Role

  • Work as a Generic Specialist Practitioner as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team within the Respiratory Virtual Ward.
  • Undertake clinical assessment and review of patients via telephone, video call, or face to face in their own homes.
  • Review and monitor patients using DOCCLA remote monitoring systems
  • Liaise closely with colleagues across the service to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Report to the Interface Service Manager and participate in relevant working groups to support service improvement and enhanced patient outcome
  • Car Driver essential

    • Additional Information Specific to the Role

  • Monday to Sunday 8am – 6pm
  • Based within NHSL Headquarters at Kirklands Hospital but manage patients across NHSL, including visiting them at their home
