Geotechnical Instrumentation Monitoring Technician

Neegan Technical Services (NTS) is currently accepting applications for a full-time Geotechnical Instrumentation Monitoring Technician position. The successful candidate will work in the field under a variety of weather conditions and collaborate closely with team members and client representatives to monitor mining and tailings structures at a client site near Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field is considered an asset
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
