Job Description

Responsibilities


  • Design and produce cartographic mapping output and presentation materials in accordance to the NWMO-SC mapping standards.

  • Provide ESRI ArcGIS support by creating, editing and maintaining geospatial datasets and attribute data.

  • Support subject matter experts (SMEs) in analyzing and interpreting spatial and geoscience/environmental monitoring data relationships.

  • Review, evaluate, and quality assure geographical and environmental data and products from external contractors to ensure compliance with NWMO’s Quality Assurance. Protocols; diagnose and resolve data issues in collaboration with staff and contractors.

  • Maintain key base geospatial datasets using authoritative government and regulatory releases.

  • Support the ongoing refinement and improvement of GIS workflows, mapping services, and internal tracking tools to enhance efficiency and data consistency.
