Responsibilities
With general direction, reviews data sources, supports GIS data development activities and recommends approaches for geodatabase design, data development, quality control, and data delivery of basic to high complexity.
- Oversees data development efforts of moderate complexity.
- Conducts GIS analysis to support clients and projects.
- This may include the generation of geospatial statistics, 3D and spatial analysis, and temporal analysis within a standard GIS software environment.
- With general direction, performs basic to highly complex GIS consulting activities such as strategic plans, upgrade evaluations, and system architecture designs. Leads group and individual discussions with clients to gather data.
- Develops designs that can be reused for other projects.
