This role is responsible for measuring the performance and optimization of our global distribution footprint
- This role interacts on a regular base with 3PL and 4PL partners.
- Main Tasks
- Drive operational excellence in the distribution centers incl. KPI management & SQDC implementation.
- Support regional teams with preparation of 3PL business review & management.
- Identify optimization opportunities of outbound logistics costs.
- Continual review and optimization of the global distribution network.
- Expert leadership & project management for key distribution footprint projects
- Develop business case and impact calculation of distribution network changes
- Support in selecting best-in-class warehousing technology; calculating business cases and supporting implementation
