Grader Operator

Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual to work as a Grader Operator.

Position Details:

• Camp based position, 5 on 2 off shift
• Long term contract
• Camp located 1.5 hours from Prince Albert
• Operate new CAT graders with joystick controls
• Ability and experience operating other heavy equipment is an asset

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain gravel roads as per specifications
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance before, during, and after each shift
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Problem solve when dealing with unexpected situations
• Follow all safety procedures
