About the role:
We currently have a full time position available for a reliable, flexible and customer service officer to join the Freight team in Alice Springs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating freight distribution for the region
- Loading and unloading freight from coaches and trailers, involving repetitive manual handling
- Ensure compliance with all Greyhound policies taking particular note of Freight restrictions and guidelines
- Processing quotes, bookings and payments for freight consignments
- Providing customer service of a high standard
- Responding to enquires at the freight counter and over the phone
- Maintain the delivery of inbound and outbound Australia Post volumes
- Maintaining computerised records for administration purposes
- Providing general support to the team
