Job Summary
The Provisional Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of automotive wiring harness protection and routing components including grommets, troughs, channels, clips, and related harness accessories. The role involves CAD modeling, packaging studies, drawing preparation, validation support, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams.
The engineer will work closely with wiring harness, vehicle integration, tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure components meet functional, dimensional, sealing, durability, and manufacturability requirements in accordance with automotive standards and customer specifications.
Preferred Experience:
Essential:
5+ years of relevant experience in automotive
plastics and rubber component engineering
Experience in
Tier-1 or Tier-2 automotive supplier environment
preferred
Experience in Design & development of Rubber parts.
