Asphalt Ground Hand 

Location: Amarillo, TX.

SUMMARY

Individual performs various duties within an asphalt plant to ensure operations run smoothly. Maintains excellent housekeeping around the plant by shoveling, performs repairs as needed to plant equipment and performs preventative maintenance in order to keep the plant running.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the plant foreperson with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
  • Ability to access all areas of the plant to perform necessary maintenance and repairs. This includes working from elevated positions using proper fall protection.
  • Perform welding and fabrication duties as required.
  • Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to follow directions.
