Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker Location: Brentwood Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 15:30, Friday 07:30 - 15:00 Overview GBN Staffing is seeking reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Workers to join its Street Scene team. This role involves maintaining public open spaces across the area, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Key Responsibilities Carry out general grounds maintenance including grass cutting, planting, pruning, and hedge trimming Undertake street cleansing duties, litter picking, and bin emptying Assist with maintenance of sports pitches, cemeteries, and public spaces Operate a range of machinery and vehicles including mowers, strimmers, and tractors Prepare and mark out sports pitches to required standards Use pesticides and herbicides in line with relevant regulations (PA1/PA6) Ensure all work is completed safely, following health & safety procedures Complete basic administrative tasks including record sheets and equipment che...
