Job Description

Groundworker 
Location:  EH16 6TX
Hours   Mon to Fri 36 hours per week
Pay  - £14.51 per hour
Duration   Temporary Ongoing
The Groundworker will: 
Measure and mark out grave spaces 
Prepare graves with use of an excavator 
Keep pathways clear 
Remove litter 
Maintain the grounds of the cemetery (grass, verges & plants) 
Check headstones for damage and ensure they are safe 
Ensure all paper work is up to date 

The Groundworker must: 
Have a full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points 
Have excellent verbal communication skills 
Have a compassionate manner 
Be health and safety conscious 
Be able to carry out tasks on a computer or handheld device 
Be willing to work in all types of weather
