POSITION SUMMARY
The Guard/ESS Operator will be responsible for controlling access to the facility by verifying identification of all entrants, inspection IDs, and denying access to unauthorized individuals. They will log authorized visitors, conduct vehicle inspections, issue passes, and ensure proper escorts within the facility. Regular communication checks, proper use of force, and utilization of metal detectors for security screening are also required. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures assigned guard posts are properly manned and monitor the performance of assigned duties
Performs static installation access control, perimeter security, roving security patrols, and intrusion detection system monitoring to include ESS
Validate Security related functions associated with the protection of U.S. Government installations, materials, property, and personnel
