Free State Oil (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of VKB Agriculture (Pty) Ltd, is offering a 12‑month Millwright Apprenticeship at its Villiers plant in the Free State. The role provides hands‑on training under experienced millwrights, covering installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installing, assembling, and dismantling machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Read technical drawings.
- Use hand and power tools.
- Align equipment, clean, and lubricate parts.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Attend classroom training sessions.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification.
- Some experience in construction, maintenance, or mechanical trades.
