Job Summary
The Hatchery Technician 2 is responsible for performing all aspects of hatchery operation including husbandry of brood stock and fry, reproduction, live food culture, daily maintenance of the fish holding facilities, data collection, and assisting with new line development. This role executes the strategy developed by the Commercialization manager.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for all facets of Hatchery operations.

Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe and biosecure work environment.

Create and maintain a positive environment for all employees free of intimidation and harassment.

Partner with Commercialization Manager to develop limited production runs of new fish and develop plans to improve both quality and yield of production lines.
