We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Head Chef to lead our culinary team in Auckland.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop menus aligned with venue standards.
- Ensure accurate food and labour costs, order supplies, manage deliveries, and process invoices.
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate and communicate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams regarding food preparation, standards, and practices.
- Demonstrate techniques and advise on cooking methods.
- Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard.
- Explain and enforce hygiene regulations, manage kitchen log books, cleaning schedules, and temperature logs.
- Select and train new staff, ensuring they are trained to a high standard and familiarised with kitchen processes.
- Build a high‑performance team and lead a productive kitchen culture.
