Job Description

Our client in the Hospitality Industry is seeking to employ a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations and lead the culinary team.

Duties & Responsibilities



  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff and food preparation activities.

  • Plan menus and ensure consistent food quality and presentation.

  • Monitor stock levels and manage inventory and ordering of supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.

  • Control food costs and minimise wastage.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation.

  • Train and mentor kitchen staff.


 Experience & Qualification


  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
