Job Summary

  • Manage the activities of the section by developing plans, objectives and procedures, directing employees, assigning work, recommending training, providing guidance and evaluating work performance.
  • Conduct analysis of HR data and provide forecasting trends and advice pertaining to recruitment of operational and non-operational employees.
  • Coordinate HR strategic planning activities by providing strategic, annual, central planning and forecasting services.
  • Advise managers and staff on approaches to problems and issues by conducting studies, writing reports and making recommendations to the Chief.
  • Develop HR planning criteria and framework by conducting research and analysis of client’s needs.
  • Act as a resource person by providing advice and policy interpretation to HQ and regional managers/employees on human resources policies, procedures and practices.
