Job Description
Lead the Canadian Medical Affairs team with Astellas and drive strategic initiatives in the Pharma sector. This role encompasses overseeing Medical Affairs, aligning strategies, and managing a diverse team in a hybrid model.
As Head of Medical Affairs, you will directly manage a team of 14 professionals, contributing to regional and global goals. Your responsibilities include overseeing budgets, medical strategies, and executing Medical Affairs-sponsored studies. You will also lead scientific content creation and ensure compliance with Astellas standards, driving project management and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee MA headcount and budget allocations
• Lead the development of medical strategies and scientific narratives
• Manage execution of investigator-sponsored research projects
• Engage in content review and approval processes
• Mentor team members in Medical Engagement Content
