Salary: £14.25 per hour + Overtime paid at £21.37 per hour!
We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our 8-wheel tipper fleet!
As an HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at a rate of £21.37 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.
Key responsibilities:
- To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
- To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
- To drive long or short distances as required
- To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
- To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
- To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
- To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
- To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition
