HGV Driver LBS

1 month contract with a Local Authority HGV Driver Waste Collection Services Candidates must bring their Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card for inspection at interview. Job Purpose To operate waste collection vehicles safely and support the delivery of efficient waste and recycling collection services. Working alongside a Loader, the Driver will ensure collection rounds are completed safely, on time and in accordance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate refuse collection (dustcart) vehicles. Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects. Follow and plan collection routes to ensure all collections are completed. Assist with loading duties when required. Work closely with Loaders and other team members to deliver an efficient service.
