Higher Level Teaching Assistant- Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist SEN provision in Essex, supporting students aged 8-16 with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and can deliver targeted interventions, classroom support and behaviour management within a structured and supportive environment.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant- Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality classroom and intervention support for students with SEN including ASD, ADHD and autism.
• Lead small group sessions and targeted interventions to support academic, social and emotional development.
• Deliver planned learning activities and cover lessons when required.
