About the role
Join the Higgins Manawatu team as a highly skilled Excavator Operator. You will be responsible for excavation and backfilling of trenches for water, sewer, and stormwater pipes across the Manawatu and Horowhenua Districts.
Responsibilities
- Operate a range of excavators (12T to 30T) and related equipment such as rollers, loaders, and trucks.
- Perform excavation, backfilling, and trench lining for drainage projects.
- Work in both urban and rural areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with team members to meet project schedules and quality requirements.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues.
